This resource is based around the experiences learners would have at the seaside. What will they see? What will they eat? What will they play with? Through the use of games, a writing frame and a substitution table, new to English learners will be able to both speak and write about imagined experiences at the seaside.
This is an engaging thinking routine. I see, I think, I wonder encourages learners to take part in collaborative learning and exploratory talk leading them into "have a go" writing. This resource would be useful for the introduction or revision of the topic coastal erosion. It could also be used as an assessment tool during the topic.
