This is a resource designed for five to seven-year-olds that explores different types of homes including houses large and small, igloos, caravans and more. Through a variety of interesting activities, such as sorting and lotto and barrier games, learners consolidate the vocabulary and structures needed to speak and write about houses and their characteristics.
Resources include vocabulary to describe what houses are made of, e.g. bricks or stone, and where they can be located, e.g. in the mountains or near the sea. There are ideas for role play activities, including an estate agent's role play. The resource includes a series of photographs of a variety of homes.
This resource pack can be downloaded as Word or PDF files.
